According to the Fresno County Coroner's Office, the Fresno woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Butler Avenue west of Fowler Avenue.
Fresno County, CA. – 86-year-old Mary Bonds died in a head-on collision that happened Monday afternoon in Fresno County.
According to the Fresno County Coroner's Office, the Fresno woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Butler Avenue west of Fowler Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol reported that Bonds was driving a Nissan Versa eastbound on Butler when she drifted into the westbound lane and hit a Chevrolet Silverado head-on around 12:35 p.m.
The 20-year-old Fresno woman driving the Silverado was unhurt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
