Marybell Delgadillo Hurt in Antelope Valley Crash on State Route 18 near 263rd Street East
Antelope Valley, California (February 29, 2022) – Marybell Delgadillo, 31, of Littletrock was injured in a crash that left a motorcyclist dead in the Northeast Antelope Valley on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Palmdale woman died following the accident that took place in the area of State Route 18, near 263rd Street East, at around 1:15 p.m. February 27.
CHP said the woman was riding a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on SR 18 when, for unknown reasons, she drifted across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2021 Toyota.
Marybell Delgadillo Injured in Antelope Valley Collision on State Route 18
The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her male passenger was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
Delgadillo was riding in the Toyota, along with another occupant identified as Maria Delapaz Lozano, 67, of Littlerock. The two were treated for minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
