Two children were rescued from the Jeep and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Clackamas County, OR. – A 24-year-old Happy Valley woman was killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning in Clackamas County early Wednesday morning.
According to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast 97th Avenue and Park Mountain Lane.
Mattie Lee Kelley was driving a 2021 Jeep Compass when she veered off the roadway, rolled down an embankment, and overturned.
Kelley was found unresponsive inside the Jeep and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A 4-year-old child and a 1-year-old child were rescued from the Jeep and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
