61-year-old Leng Seng of Chico was driving the Silverado and was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries

Gerber, CA. – A woman died several days after being involved in a two-vehicle collision near Gerber in Tehama County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened at around 11:45 a.m. December 4, on Rawson Road at Gyle Road.
46-year-old Melissa Sides, of Corning, was driving a 2022 Jeep Compass on Rawson Road when she crashed into the rear of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado traveling east on Gyle Road.
The Jeep subsequently struck the front end of a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Roberto Herrera, 29, of Kelseyville, which was stopped at the intersection.
Sides was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Redding where she died on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Herrera's passenger, 42-year-old Marian Lombera of Modesto, was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the collision were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
