According to CHP, Melissa Sides, 46, of Corning, was driving a 2022 Jeep Compass on Gyle Road when she failed to stop for a stop sign and rear-ended a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven eastbound on Rawson Road
Red Bluff, CA.- A woman suffered major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in Red Bluff on Wednesday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on Gyle and Rawson roads at around 11:45 a.m. December 4.
According to CHP, Melissa Sides, 46, of Corning, was driving a 2022 Jeep Compass on Gyle Road when she failed to stop for a stop sign and rear-ended a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven eastbound on Rawson Road by Leng Seng, 51, of Chico.
The Jeep then struck the front of a stopped 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Roberto Herrrera, 49, of Kelseyville, while the Chevrolet was sent off the roadway and into a field.
Sides was taken to Mercy Medical Center with major injuries.
Seng and a passenger in the Dodge Ram, Marian Lombera, 42, of Modesto, were treated for minor injuries.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
