Mendocino County Accident on Highway 101 near Cherry Creek Rest Stop Injures 1
Mendocino County, California (August 28, 2021) – Injuries were reported after three vehicles crashed on a highway in Mendocino County Friday morning, August 27
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at approximately 6:25 a.m. on Highway 101, just south of the Cherry Creek Rest Stop.
It was not immediately established how the collision occurred in the morning hours.
Mendocino County 3-Vehicle Accident
The crash reportedly left one unidentified person with unspecified injuries.
Officials believed one of the involved parties was intoxicated at the report time.
Additionally, a tow truck was dispatched to remove a Chevrolet Cobalt that had become stuck in the embankment.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
