Rider Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries Following Menifee Motorcycle Accident at Highway 74 and Trumble Road
Menifee, California (February 12, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured last week on Sunday in an alleged DUI crash at an intersection in Menifee, according to authorities.
The major injury accident happened just before 10:20 p.m. on February 6 in the area of Highway 74 and Trumble Road.
Authorities said a Toyota pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 74 when the driver made a left turn directly in front of a Harley Davidson. Both vehicles ultimately collided at the intersection.
First responders found the male motorcyclist lying down in the roadway and suffering from life-threatening injuries. The patient was then taken to the Inland Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the Toyota pickup was arrested for DUI.
The area of Highway 74 and Trimble Road was closed for several hours as the investigation took place.
