Motorcyclist Killed in Menlo Park Crash on Highway 101 near Willow Road
Menlo Park, California (December 28, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed early Tuesday morning in a traffic collision in Menlo Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 3:50 a.m. on Highway 101 near Willow Road.
CHP said a vehicle was heading southbound on Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and slammed into the center median.
The vehicle became disabled on the highway and was hit by a motorcycle.
Deadly Motorcycle Collision in Menlo Park
The motorcycle rider died in the crash.
The driver of the disabled vehicle had only minor injuries.
The southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Willow Road were shut down following the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
