Police said the deadly rear-end crash happened at about 10 a.m. on June 16 at the intersection of East Valencia Road and South Alvernon Way.

Tucson, AZ – A 29-year-old man was killed in a collision on Tucson's south side Monday morning, according to Tucson PD.
Police said the deadly rear-end crash happened at about 10 a.m. on June 16 at the intersection of East Valencia Road and South Alvernon Way.
Authorities said Michael Henry Dooling was driving a Chevy Colorado westbound on E Valencia Road when he rear-ended a tow truck that was stopped in the middle at a red light.
Investigators said Dooling was driving at speeds above 45 mph when he rear-ended the tow truck, adding that he had been swerving on I-10 and on Valencia Road before the collision.
Authorities further said that Dooling may have been intoxicated and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
