, CA – The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle on Nimitz Boulevard as Michael Casey Ellis, 30, of Point Loma.

According to the San Diego PD, Eliss was jogging westbound on West Point Loma Boulevard crossing Nimitz Boulevard when he was struck by a BMW sedan travelling southbound on Nimitz Boulevard.

San Diego, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Point Loma on Thursday morning.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened on Nimitz Boulevard near Point Loma Boulevard at around 5 a.m.

A BMW was racing two other vehicles, possibly a Dodge Charger and a white Mustang when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
