Michael Hein Hospitalized after Guerneville Collision on River Road near Odd Fellows Park Road
Sonoma County, California (October 11, 2021) – Michael Hein, 26, of Sebastopol, was injured after being involved in a deadly traffic accident near Guerneville late Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash between a pickup truck and a bus happened shortly before noon on October 7, in front of Korbel Winery at 13250 River Road near Old Fellows Park Road.
CHP said a Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound on River Road when it veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a Sonoma County Transit bus driven by Hein.
Hein sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.
The driver of the Tacoma died in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
