Michelle Cuiniche Injured in Arroyo Grande Motorcycle Accident on Lopez Drive
Arroyo Grande, California (September 15, 2021) – 29-year-old Josiah Moy Gonzalez was killed in a motorcycle accident in Arroyo Grande on Saturday, September 4.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at about 7:55 p.m. on Lopez Drive near Grieb Ranch Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Gonzalez was riding a motorcycle westbound on the roadway when he allowed the bike to drift into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2016 Kia driven by 23-year-old Robert Escamilla of Bakersfield.
Josiah Gonzalez Killed in Arroyo Grande Motorcycle Accident on Lopez Drive
Gonzalez was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the San Luis Obispo County Coroner's office.
24-year-old Michelle Cuiniche, of Bakersfield, was a passenger in the motorcycle and was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
