Timber, OR.- The woman who was killed in a crash that left five other parties injured near Timber on Saturday evening has been identified as Michelle Marie Moussan, 59, of Vancouver, according to the Oregon State Police.
The incident took place on Highway 26 near milepost 31 shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.
According to the report, a Toyota Rav4 was traveling westbound on Highway 26 when it drifted into the eastbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming Nissan Sentra.
Michelle was a passenger in the Nissan and died at the scene of the crash.
The operator of the Nissan, a 62-year-old from Texas, and two other Nissan passengers, were all transported with severe injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 64-year-old man from Seattle, and his passenger, were also hospitalized with serious injuries.
Authorities are working to find out what led up to the incident.
