2 Killed, 3 Injured in Midway District Crash at Camino Del Rio West and Sports Arena Boulevard
Midway District, California (May 7, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday night pickup truck accident that killed two people and left three other parties injured in Midway District.
The crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. at Camino Del Rio West and Sports Arena Boulevard.
According to the police, a pickup truck collided with a minivan at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, both vehicles reportedly sustained significant damage.
Sadly, two people sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Three others parties were injured in the accident and were transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital and UC San Diego Medical Center.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
