According to CHP, Raya was found down in the roadway suffering from major injuries after colliding with another vehicle
Bakersfield, CA.- Miguel Angel Raya, 46, of Wasco, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle in southwest Bakersfield earlier this month, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
The incident occurred at about 6:45 a.m. July 3, on White Lane and Old River Road.
According to CHP, Raya was found down in the roadway suffering from major injuries after colliding with another vehicle.
Despite life-saving measures, Raya succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No further details on the incident were released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
