Miguel Lopez Injured in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Stockdale Highway near Buttonwillow
Buttonwillow, California (March 18, 2022) – Miguel Angel Lopez, 29, of Arvin was injured in a deadly multi-vehicle collision that happened early Friday morning near Buttonwillow, according to California Highway Patrol.
Bernabe Lopez Garcia, 24, of Arvin, was reportedly driving a 2004 Chevrolet westbound on Stockdale Highway west of Highway 43 when he collided with an eastbound kenworth tractor and two other vehicles.
The tragic accident left Garcia dead.
Lopez was a passenger in the Chevrolet and was taken to Kern Medical with injuries of unknown severity.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
