At Least 1 Injured in Milpitas Accident on Interstate 880 near Great Mall Parkway
Milpitas, California (February 26, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major collision that took place in Milpitas early Wednesday morning.
A big rig and a small sedan were involved in the accident that took place at around 12:13 a.m. on Interstate 880 near Great Mall Parkway.
It's unclear what caused the two to crash.

One person sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The southbound lanes of I-880 were closed for the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
