According to CHP, a 13-year-old girl was riding an e-bike across Lake Tahoe Boulevard when she was hit by an eastbound Acura MDX

South Lake Tahoe, CA.– A girl was struck and injured by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in South Lake Tahoe on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Lake Tahoe Boulevard and Sawmill Road just after 7:45 a.m. June 7.
According to CHP, a 13-year-old girl was riding an e-bike across Lake Tahoe Boulevard when she was hit by an eastbound Acura MDX.
The impact threw the girl into the air and she hit a snow paddle maker.
The girl was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 53-year-old South Lake Tahoe woman, was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
