Two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the highway, leaving at least one person hurt

Newark, Calif. – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a traffic collision that happened Monday morning on a highway in Newark, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP officers said the collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. on westbound Highway 84 over Ardenwood Boulevard.
The crash involved a white Ford Fusion and a gray Infiniti.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The Infiniti was towed away with major front-end damage and the Ford was towed away with major left side damage.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
