Minor Injuries Sustained in Cerritos Car Crash on Interstate 605 near 183rd Street
Cerritos, California (August 25, 2022) – A Thursday morning rollover collision involving several vehicles on Interstate 605 in Cerritos resulted in minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup took place at about 7:21 a.m. in the southbound lanes at 183rd Street.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident. One of them overturned onto its roof, trapping its occupants inside.
Emergency personnel rushed to the scene shortly after the crash to help the motorists.
According to the CHP report, only minor injuries were sustained. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes were closed for about 45 minutes following the collision.
