Minor Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-680 in San Jose

, Calif. – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The pileup took place around 6:40 p.m. on southbound just under the McKee Road overpass.

First responders found a white Ford blocking the No. 2 lane, a Honda HR-V with moderate front-end and rear-end damage blocking the No. 3 lane, and a blue Subaru Outback with moderate rear-end damage.

At least one person sustained minor injuries in the collision. It was unclear if the victim was hospitalized.

The vehicles were towed away from the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
