Oakland, CA. – An early morning multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 880 Freeway in Oakland left one person suffering from minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup was reported around 2:24 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate just north of the Hegenberger Road off-ramp.
Three vehicles, including a silver Infiniti, were involved in the accident. Debris from the collision was scattered in traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person was treated for minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
