, Calif. – One person sustained minor injuries in a traffic collision involving a dirt bike that happened Thursday evening in Tulare, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred around 6:13 p.m. on Road 108, just south of Avenue 264.

Authorities said a dirt bike and a gray Honda Civic were both traveling northbound on Road 108 when they were involved in the collision.

First responders found debris scattered all over the area.

One person was treated for minor injuries at the scene, but it was unclear if they were hospitalized.

The Honda sustained major right-front damage.

Officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
