Davis, CA. – Minor injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday evening in Davis, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place around 6:05 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, near Mace Boulevard.
Eight vehicles were involved in the accident, as per the report.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
The firefighters helped an unknown number of parties who sustained minor injuries in the crash.
At least three vehicles, including a Dodge Ram, were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
