At Least 1 Hurt in East Palo Alto Crash on Highway 101 near University Avenue Off-Ramp
East Palo Alto, California (June 23, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle car collision that happened Thursday evening in East Palo Alto.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup took place at about 6:37 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of the University Avenue off-ramp.
The collision involved an Isuzu NRR box truck, a Nissan Frontier pickup truck, and a white Tesla Model 3. The Nissan overturned onto its side.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and assisted at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
