Three People Injured in Modesto Crash on South Ninth Street near Wisenor Avenue

Modesto, California (December 23, 2021) – Three people were injured Tuesday evening in an alleged DUI crash in Modesto, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 5:38 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, on South Ninth Street, just north of Wisenor Avenue.
As per the local news report, a Dodge Ram with a two-axle flatbed trailer pulled over and legally parked on the east shoulder in front of an auto wrecking business.
A man exited the Dodge to do business at the auto wreckers. Moments later, a Honda Accord drifted to the right off the northbound lane of Ninth Street.
The Honda reportedly traveled up the flatbed attached to the Dodge and slammed through its back window. The trailer then went low to the ground.
The driver, a front-seat passenger, and a right rear passenger of the parked Dodge were treated at the crash site for minor injuries.
The Honda driver, Gonzalo Bustamante-Ruiz, 58, of Modesto, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
