The Bakersfield man was hit around 4 p.m. on May 3 near 23rd and L streets and died on May 17 at Kern Medical, where he was receiving treatment.
Bakersfield, CA. – The Kern County Coroner's Office identified the man who died weeks after he was struck by a car earlier this month in Bakersfield as 35-year-old Mohammad Arsalan Ali.
The Bakersfield man was hit around 4 p.m. on May 3 near 23rd and L streets and died on May 17 at Kern Medical, where he was receiving treatment.
The driver involved in the crash remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Impairment and speed were not believed to be contributing factors.
