Minor Injuries Sustained in Monterey Car Accident on Highway 1 near Highway 68
Monterey, California (February 26, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Monterey, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup was reported at about 1:45 p.m. on northbound Highway 1, just south of Highway 68.
Six vehicles, including a silver Toyota Prius, a red Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan, and a white hardscape maintenance truck, were involved in the collision.
At least one person sustained minor injuries. That person was taken to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
