At Least 1 Injured in Car Crash on Highway 68 in Monterey County
Monterey County, California (May 4, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in a Tuesday afternoon Highway 68 multi-car crash, authorities said.
The accident happened at about 3:10 p.m. near WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles were involved in the pileup.
The cause and manner of the crash were not yet established at the time of the report.
At least one person sustained moderate injuries.
The crash left both lanes of the highway closed for about an hour.
The highway started reopening at around 3:50 p.m.
CHP is investigating the accident.
