Major Injury Monterey County Accident on Highway 1 at Bixby Bridge
Monterey County, California (October 18, 2021) – Several people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Monterey County Sunday evening, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP said the head-on accident occurred on Highway 1 at the Bixby Bridge at about 7:30 p.m.
As per the report, a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a silver Ford Expedition crashed head-on along the highway for undetermined reasons.

Several unidentified people, including one who had sustained major injuries in the crash, were rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The collision resulted in the closure of a section of Highway 1 at Bixby for an unknown time.
