, California (May 3, 2022) – Authorities have released the identities of two of three people who were killed in a head-on collision Monday afternoon near Coalinga in County.

The Sheriff's Office identified the two as 39-year-old Natalie Shepherd and her 2-year-old daughter Savanah Fagundes.

The deadly crash occurred at about 2:40 p.m. on southbound Highway 33, just north of Sutter Avenue.

The collision involved a Dodge pickup and a Dodge Caravan that collided. The Caravan caught fire and became fully engulfed following the collision.

Coalinga, California (May 3, 2022) – Three people were killed in a head-on collision that happened Monday afternoon near Coalinga in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash occurred at about 2:40 p.m. on southbound Highway 33, just north of Sutter Avenue.

The wreck involved a Dodge pickup truck and a Dodge Caravan that collided head-on for unknown reasons. The Caravan caught fire and became fully engulfed.

CHP said an adult woman and a juvenile in the pickup truck, alongside the driver of the Caravan, were killed in the accident.

No other details were available, but CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
