2 Pedestrians Injured in Santa Maria Accident near Blosser and Stowell Roads
Santa Maria, California (March 8, 2022) – A mother and her son were struck and injured by a vehicle near an intersection in Santa Maria on Friday afternoon, according to Santa Maria Police Department.
The two were trying to cross the street in the crosswalk just before 3 p.m. March 4, when they were struck by a vehicle.
The accident happened near Blosser and Stowell roads.

The woman, a 47-year-old, and her 10-year-old son were taken to Marian Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene after the collision. The driver was issued a vehicle code citation.
The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating the incident.
