Rider Injured in Barstow Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 15 near Old Highway 58 Off-Ramp
Barstow, California (August 12, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after colliding with another vehicle Friday afternoon in Barstow.
The incident happened at around 5:46 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15, just north of the Old Highway 58 off-ramp.
A motorcyclist on a blue Harley-Davidson Road King collided with an unknown vehicle under unclear circumstances.
Barstow police and firefighters responded to the scene to find the rider and the bike down in the roadway.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, including road rash. An air ambulance was requested to airlift the rider to the hospital. Mercy Air 66 responded and transported the patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
