Authorities said a car was turning when it collided with a motorcycle at Aviation Boulevard and Space Park Drive
Redondo Beach, Calif. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car making a turn at an intersection in Redondo Beach Saturday afternoon, Redondo Beach police said.
The accident was reported around 3:15 p.m. at Aviation Boulevard and Space Park Drive.
Police said a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Aviation when it collided with a car turning south onto Aviation from Space Park Drive.
The male rider died from his injuries at the scene.
The car driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
Police said impairment did not appear to be a factor.
An investigation is ongoing.
