Rider Hurt in 10 Freeway Motorcycle Accident near Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino
San Bernardino, California (June 5, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being injured in a Saturday afternoon crash in San Bernardino, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck was reported at about 2:31 p.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway near Waterman Avenue.
A motorcyclist on a silver Suzuki Roadster collided with a silver Honda Fit.
A witness said the rider was traveling at over 150 mph prior to the collision.
The motorcyclist was sitting up in the middle lanes, and the motorcycle was blocking the No. 3 lane. Good Samaritans helped the rider walk to the center divider and removed the bike from the roadway.
The driver involved, only identified as Maria, stopped her car on the right-hand shoulder after the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
