San Bernardino, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with severe injuries after colliding with a car Monday afternoon in San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol said.
Police officers and firefighters responded to eastbound Interstate 210 west of Waterman Avenue after they received reports of the crash around 5:15 p.m.
The responders found a motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Passat involved in the accident.
Reportedly, the car changed lanes while the motorcyclist was splitting lanes, and the vehicles collided.
The rider went down in the No. 2 lane.
The firefighters transported the rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the crash.
