Rider Injured in Sylmar Motorcycle Accident on Highway 14 near 5 Freeway
Sylmar, California (June 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in Sylmar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle and two cars collided at around 7:54 a.m. on southbound Highway 14, just north of 5 Freeway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the HOV and the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the accident, the report said. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to provide medical it. It was, however, not clear if the rider was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
