Rider Injured in 405 Freeway Collision at Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (June 18, 2022) – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after colliding with a car Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened at around 2:13 p.m. on southbound 405 Freeway at S Vermont Avenue.
According to the CHP, a black Civic motorcycle slammed into the rear of a black Ford for unknown reasons.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the roadway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked some traffic lanes.
The rider suffered minor injuries, but it was clear if they were hospitalized.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
