Motorcycle Rider Injured in City Heights Accident on University Avenue near Euclid Avenue

City Heights, California (August 10, 2022) – One person was injured in a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Tuesday afternoon in City Heights, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The wreck happened on University Avenue, east of Euclid Avenue, at about 3:30 p.m. on August 9.
A 50-year-old man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on University Avenue when he collided with a Buick LaCrosse that made a right turn from 50th Street onto University.
The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. His injuries included a dislocated shoulder, fractured ribs, and a fractured left femur.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the collision.
