Police said a 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle eastbound on Paradise Valley Road when he tried to make a left turn onto northbound Briarwood Road and crashed into a westbound red 2015 Toyota Prius that entered the intersection
Bay Terraces, CA.- A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle in the Bay Terraces on Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The accident occurred in the 7200 block of Paradise Valley Road at Briarwood Road at about 3:40 p.m. October 23.
Police said a 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle eastbound on Paradise Valley Road when he tried to make a left turn onto northbound Briarwood Road and crashed into a westbound red 2015 Toyota Prius that entered the intersection.
The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with major injuries including facial fractures and brain bleed.
Alcohol was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
