Richmond, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday evening in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident transpired around 7:31 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, just west of the Central Avenue off-ramp.
A motorcycle, a Toyota Corolla, and another car were involved in the accident.
The motorcyclist was sitting on the right shoulder after the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the rider with serious injuries, including a laceration to the face. The rider was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
