Rider Killed in Claremont Motorcycle Crash on Foothill (210) Freeway

Claremont, California (October 15, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a crash with a vehicle in Claremont on Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 4:18 a.m., authorities responded to reports of a collision between a Lexus and a motorcycle on eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway at the Baseline Road off-ramp.

The person riding the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
One other party was evaluated at the scene by the paramedics.
Three eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed for over two hours for the investigation.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
