Sebastopol, CA.- A motorcyclist was hurt in a collision that took place in Sebastopol on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Todd Road at about 6:30 p.m. June 4.
According to the report, a man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed north on Todd Road when he collided with a southbound white van that was attempting to turn right into a driveway.
The emergency crews performed life-saving measures on the motorcyclist but the rider died at the scene.
The operator of the van remained at the scene after the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
