Police said the the motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle that was making a turn at the intersection

Los Angeles, CA – A 40-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle collision in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The accident took place on Alameda and Industrial streets at about 4:12 p.m. July 7.
Police said the the motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle that was making a turn at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was ejected by the impact of the crash.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The rider was only identified as a 40-year-old man.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
