A black motorcycle collided with a gray sedan Thursday afternoon near Interstate 580.
Tracy, CA – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Thursday afternoon in Tracy, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident was reported to authorities around 4:58 p.m. on Mountain House Parkway, just north of Interstate 580.
A black motorcycle and a gray sedan were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene and requested a REACH air ambulance to respond and airlift the seriously injured motorcyclist to the hospital.
CHP said the rider later died from their injuries. The report did not mention if the rider died at the scene, en route to the hospital, or at the hospital.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
