Robert Kerman was severely injured and killed after a vehicle turned in front of him at the intersection of East Amado Road and North Hermosa Drive

Palm Springs, CA – The Riverside County Sheriff's – Coroner has identified the motorcyclist killed after colliding with a vehicle at a Palm Springs intersection on Wednesday as Robert Kerman, 71, of Palm Desert.
Authorities say Kerman was severely injured after colliding with a vehicle at about 9:21 p.m. on March 20, 2024, at the intersection of East Amado Road and North Hermosa Drive, near the Tierra Hermosa and Casa Verde.
Kerman was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at about 9:52 p.m. the same day.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, a preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle turned in front of the motorcyclist leading to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
