A motorcycle collided with a car making a turn at Demaree Street and Coppola Avenue.
Visalia, CA. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Visalia, police said.
The wreck took place around 5:32 p.m. at Demaree Street and Coppola Avenue.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a car was traveling southbound when the driver attempted to make an eastbound turn onto Coppola Avenue from Demaree Street and collided with a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the crash but said impairment was not thought to be a contributing factor.
