Peoria, Ariz.- A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision in Peoria on Saturday, according to the Peoria Police Department.
The crash happened on 107th Avenue north of Beardsley Road on Saturday, January 3.
Police said a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
It's unclear whether speed or impairment were factors in the accident.
The crash caused the closure of 107th Avenue between Deer Valley and Beardsley roads.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
