Rider Hospitalized after Long Beach Motorcycle Accident on 710 Freeway near Highway 91
Long Beach, California (August 27, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash that took place Saturday afternoon in North Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported at about 4:30 p.m. on northbound 710 Freeway, just north of Highway 91.
A Civic motorcycle collided with a car for unknown reasons, sending the motorcycle and the rider down onto the roadway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the seriously injured rider.
The Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes remained blocked during the rescue operation and as authorities investigated.
The cause of the collision was not immediately established.
