Police said a black 2016 GMC Sierra truck was traveling west on Washington Street when it made a left turn onto 3rd Avenue and was broadsided by an eastbound 2010 Aprilia RSV4 sport motorcycle
Hillcrest, CA.- A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Wednesday afternoon in Hillcrest, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place in the 300 block of Washington Street at about 4:30 p.m. October 16.
Police said a black 2016 GMC Sierra truck was traveling west on Washington Street when it made a left turn onto 3rd Avenue and was broadsided by an eastbound 2010 Aprilia RSV4 sport motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, was rushed a hospital with serious injuries.
Police said DUI was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
